BRIEF
There's nothing more fascinating than continuing to learn while working. This was the case for the Lactário project, commissioned by NOSSA. To help tell the history of the museum, which in the past started as a place to gather and support families in need in Lisbon, Bavaroise was responsible for drawing all the illustrations. The goal was to create an animated video that kids would enjoy and learn from when visiting the museum.

IDEA
Following the script and the request of mixing archived old photos in the background with the animation itself, when choosing the color palette, we kept in mind the vintage sepia look we wanted to achieve.

The illustration style was easy to decide upon since the client had already provided a reference from one of Bavaroise's projects. The client trusted us to deliver characters capable of basic animation movements that could also be used in print for a future children's book. Together, we discussed how to best represent each scene. As a standard practice, we usually showed a rough draft before the final piece, which ensured a smooth and clear process.
When touring around Lisbon, just take a few steps from Santa Apolónia station to learn more about this amazing place and visit the museum!
